This is old stuff. I did this near the end of last year and am now just getting around to putting it up. This was for the 24 hour comics challenge, where you have to draw 24 pages of comics in 24 hours. I chose to expand a story of my own that I've always enjoyed: [link] This isn't really a fantastic piece of work or anything, and there are plenty of line, coloring, anatomy, and composition problems, but when you take 2 hours to thumbnail everything out and decide to actually apply marker tones, you have to basically just pump these pages out. Each one is about 4 x 6 inches and took me about 30-40 minutes to complete. I threw some really simple color overlay on it in Photoshop to liven up the neutral gray markers.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it. considering the stuff near the end is literally done with 36+ waking hours under my belt, I don't feel like I need to critique myself too much. Enjoy it for the story I wanted to share, and ignore all the crappy drawings lol
P.S. incidentally, I was retarded and miscounted my thumbnails since I was in such a hurry, and when I got halfway though doing the pages, I realized I actually had 25, so instead of trying to compress it I just said screw it and expanded the story out to 27 pages (since I think it flows better that way). I know it was against the "rules", but honestly, I did this for myself anyways, so who cares?
This is wonderful! Incredibly sweet. A good expansion of the previous version, too. This has a definite 'not your usual fairy tale' feel, a la No Rest For the Wicked [link] . I also love the design of the little people. They're very cute and vaguely remind me of South Park.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
