Artist's Comments

I don't know if anyone else ever gets this, but people will often share a funny experience with me and then tell me to do a comic about it. Such situations are... awkward. Sometimes it'll all work out and I can actually do a comic, but for the most part certain factors will prevent me from bringing that idea to fruition. Turning someone down when they suggest ideas to you is a strange process, where you have to be subtle enough to suggest that the idea is unusable without crossing the line to imply (even if it were not the case) that their particular brand of humor is somehow bad. I am no good at this. So instead, I'll act like the idea was fantastic, and leave you to ponder the real meaning behind my smile when you find your pockets picked.

Ha ha. I wish I had that problem. Most people who give me ideas probably have better ideas than I do myself.

But excellent comic, and good way of presenting your point.

Yeah, I hear you.
When I started doing a journal comic, I had this happen... in a slightly different way. This first panel [link] is one example, but it got to the point that I actually had people go so far as to *plan antics* that would be bizarre enough to end up in my comics. ¬_¬

I like the colour scheme of this comic. Really, I do. This one somehow stands out as different to me, just in the browns and greens of the backgrounds and your lunch companion there. The only things that don't fit in with those colours are you two. It must be to do with the conformity of the world, and how you refuse to give into it. Yes. That sounds overly worked anough to be believable.
